About MCBSU
The Maryland Center at Bowie State University,
Inc. was established in 2000 as a legally constituted 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
organization by the State of Maryland . The Center is housed on the campus of
Bowie State University in Prince George 's County, Maryland in the Office of
Institutional Advancement. Bowie State University is the historically black
member of the University System of Maryland. The Center was established by a
group of concerned professionals and distinguished community leaders and
inherits the full capacities and resources of this group, representing over 100
staff that have been collaborating for over five years and have over 25 years of
experience in administering federal and philanthropic grants.
